2G and govt exposed

won the world cup !

I was watching TV and "live India channel" raised a brilliant point that after winning the world cup cricket Indian people came on roads but after CWG, 2G and other scams Indian people never came on roads to complain.

Anyways I was thinking that now Indian media should change itself a bit and should not make a cry when Indian team looses because winning and loosing is integral part of game. Of Course, they should give a positive and true report.

I expect (and should) govt, people and media will concentrate on some other games also.

my simple wishlist

sports
1. would like to see hockey world cup in a format of football world cup
i.e. group of 4, two team from each group qualify to knock out

2. would like to see cricket world cup in a format of hockey world cup i.e. two groups of six team and top two teams qualify for semifinals

3. would like to see hockey champions trophy also in cricket i.e. only top six teams qualify for round robin league tournament

4. i don't know and i will post somewhere else also - why manufacturers like (toothpaste, toothbrush, anything packaged in steel box) don't recollect the empty or used things and recycle them to sell again to reduce the prices etc.

Data Execution Prevention

DEP is a good technology but and should be used. applicatio developers should compile their applications compatible to DEP. but i was amazed to discover that once DEP enabled for all applications:
SOPHOS Anti virus and VMWare 6.0.5 is not able to run and DEP will just block them.

why these vendors are not worried about providing security to their customers.

the problem is not the spam. the problem is a few days back I have sent some email from this email account to some hotel in usa regarding some issue. - and now i am forced to think how my email was leaked to this spammer guy?
1. hotel PC is infected and malware stealed my email id.. most possible - so which malware/botnet is sending these emails.

2. or way to US is infected .... :-)

analysis of learning methods

I was just thinking which learning method yields more. can we generalize. or if can even draw a graph which can be shown to a learner, I think it will be easier for learner to decide which learning path to adopt.

Vishal bhardwaj is a film director who is infamous for using slang language in his movies. And now he gives an excuse- If People stop using slang, we'll stop using them. there are two ccounter logic to it.
1. everbody who has gone to watch the movie may not be a user of slang language and may have objection. An adult guy can go to watch the movie with (A) but he will also feel uncomfortable with slang language.

2. And if Vishal Bhardwaj is so impressively hurt with using slang language by some people, he can make a movie and spread Civilization by telling them better ways to communicate.
